saw the flaming lips TWICE - met and talked to wayne coyne and steven drozd
ANIMAL COLLECTIVE MPP MPP
won a panda bear tomboy skate decks / alien minefield package
saw gang gang dance!!!! gatekeeper, lower dens, RENE HELL
moogfest 2011 - ohneotrix, baths, john maus, flying lotus, atlas sound, etc
shot a couple shorts and had a blast
WORKED AND EARNED MONEY!?!?!
met / got better acquainted with tons of amazing people
filmed some pretty cool performances around town
formed new bands: Human Energy Field, Endless Haze
formed Experimental Asheville
formed Ingrown Records

all in all, the greatest fucking year of my life. there is no reason for me to ever be sad, even if I only got to experience this year as my entire life. if my life continues like this, it just might get too good to be true.
Great year, personally. As far as world events it’s a different story, but I’m done letting that shit get to me (without taking action myself).
